“ Popped in and wasn’t sure what to expect but the food was amazing and chef was extremely nice and accommodating. The Burgers were a meal in itself and it also came with a large bowl of chips. Cooked fresh and obviously with love. I didn’t know this was available for this price in this day and age. Will definitely be back to try the loaded chips and nachos. ”
“ What a great, relaxing Sunday roast!! We regularly come to the Horse & Groom pub for drinks but it was our first Sunday roast here. We had a reservation and the chef was waiting for us. He made us feel welcomed right from the start. He went through the starter (four), and the roast (three) options available. We went for bruschetta & lamb sausage for starters, with two beef roasts. Food came swiftly, was hot, and cooked to perfection. The juicy lamb sausages were delicious, with really nice sauce. The bruschetta was also excellent, with warm tomatoes and crustless bread. The beef roast was fantastic, with three generous slices of beef, Yorkshire pudding, peas, potatoes, sprouts, and a bowl of creamy cauliflower cheese. Terrific. We barely had room for pudding, but the chocolate fudge and the Amaretto and coffee cake dessert seemed too good to miss- they were! The food was excellent, and the chef constantly checked on us and all other customers, very attentive! We will surely be back soon. ”
